Definition: Animal testing, also called animal experimentation, is the use of non-human animals in experiments. It is estimated that 50 to 100 million animals are used in the testing of cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Some animals die because of these experiments, while others are severely injured and live the remainder of their lives suffering from painful conditions as result of these tests.



Purpose: The purpose of this blog is to present the pros, cons, and facts regarding the use of living animals when testing products that may or may not be useful to the human population.
